For those coming from further south, driving around is an easy option. You can take the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (there is a one-way toll traveling south).There are three ferry options: Edmonds to Kingston, Seattle to Bainbridge and Coupeville to Port Townsend.
The Edmonds to Kingston route is the easiest and most popular. Because of this, at peak times, the ferry wait can be two hours or more. Because of this, we strongly suggest that you plan to arrive at the ferry terminal before 4 p.m. to guarantee your presence at the ceremony. The Coupeville to Port Townsend route is a much less popular route but you can (and pretty much must) make reservations. It is convenient for guests travelling from the north. The drive will be a little longer, but a guaranteed space on a ferry is very convenient.
